month | week | day | tableOn Thursday, March 22, 2007 O'Farrell Community School will be hosting their 3rd Annual Art Show. Student works from Ms. Esquivel's, Sue Brickson's, and Ed Moller's art classes will be on display during Open House from 5:00-8:00 p.m where parents, family members and attending students will be able to vote on thier favorite pieces of art from specific categories. Later in the evening there will an Art Award Ceremony where students will be recognized for thier outstanding art work.
Lifetouch will be on campus to take Spring Pictures. Students will receive a packet of photos to preview. Please return photos or payment to your homebase teacher.
The O'Farrell Community School Orchestra will be performing in our spring concert, Thursday, March 29, 2007, in our school auditorium. This event is not to be missed!

Would you like to increase your MATH test score? We will be having a Math workshop for you and your parents/guardians to attend to increase your score by a minimum of 10%. The workshop will be tonight, April 24, at 6:00 p.m. in the South Cafeteria. The workshop will be presented by Mr. Merica-Jones. All students who arrive on time will be entered into a fun drawing for a TV, CD player and movie tickets. If you are not able to attend the workshop this website will help you: http://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/tg/sr/. STAR testing is May 1 – 4, May 1 – 3 will be minimum days please remind your parents.
